Photographing horses, like any other branch of sports photography, requires not only quick reflexes but also a good sense of anticipation. Knowing from experience what is likely to happen next and putting yourself in the right place at the right time to catch the action is the key to success.
As a dressage rider for many years, Michael’s knowledge of the horse, how it moves and how it behaves, has given him a considerable advantage when it comes to photographing horses.
